Average Price Matched un-ticks itself

Postby Craig » Tue May 21, 2013 9:29 pm

.
I don't know if this is particular to my Gruss setup, or if other users have experienced similar symptoms.

One of the optional columns that, from time to time, I like to have on the grid is Average Price Matched.

However, once the Average Price Matched column is displayed on the grid, if I return to Options — for whatever reason — the Average Price Matched box un-ticks itself and I lose the column.

I don't suppose this is very important in the scheme of things — I'm now know to re-tick the box before I exit the Options menu, but if a simple solution is identifiable then a minor irritant can be eliminated from a future upgrade.

It's not happening here so it might be a bug revealed by your specific profile. Can you send your profile file to admin@gruss-software.co.uk so I can test it.

Select "Open settings folder" from the options menu and send the file named user.config

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
