No horse racing UK stewards enquiry option in menu today

UK option missing today,what happens if main market is closed?

It's happened again,seems to be too many options like special bets and winning stall leaving no room for Stewards.Mabe you could make betfair aware of this problem Gary.Looks like will have to have betfair site on as well
as the markets are often closed before a Stewards is called,especially on a busy day.Takes forever to open them Nowdays,might this be due to cutbacks in staff.

Aren't these markets created only when a stewards is called? Betting Assistant does not poll for new markets automatically. If you are aware there is a new market then you should click the refresh button above the market tree.

Well it's back as an option today,should always be there without need to refresh,otherwise it's quicker to have BF open on keep race yes/no.

Missing again today.Gary are you saying that the stewards enquiry keep the race yes/no market will appear buy clicking refresh on the markets menu should the main market be closed before a stewards is called??.Mabe I'm wrong,sorry if I am but it seems the option is occasionally replaced by some other option in GB horse racing such as "match bets" or "special bets"
At the moment on the occasions whe it is missing I have to have the betfair interface on in case I have to alter my exposure to avoid a possible big loss.

Hi,

When you Open Betting Assistant it sends a request to Betfair asking for all the Market data which is then used to populate the Market Tree.
You can see it fetching the data and it takes several seconds.
Thereafter the software does not poll Betfair for new markets and Betfair don't tell us when new markets have been added.
If you want to manually poll Betfair then you can hit the Refresh button resending the request to fetch the market data which will then include any new markets that have been added since you last opened Betting Assistant.
There is no way for us to know when Betfair have added a new market.

Thanks for the reply,but the stewards enquiry market in horse racing Gb market side menu is visible virtually every day of the year (99.9%)bar the days I have posted saying it has disappeared today.I have never in the last 7yrs fulltime seen an occasion when it was not visible but will appear by clicking refresh should a stewards be called when the main market has already been closed.

Ok Beverly 17.40 went to stewards,after refreshing menu stewards enquiry box appeared.I now know on the rare occasions it is not in the menu list it will appear by refreshing as you said it would if Betfair made it available.
All is well that ends well.
