PARTIALLY MATCHED BET

In bet reff cell there is the reff number followed by "P" and in matched amount cell the amount matched so far ( >0)
If I enter in trigger cell : "CANCEL"

1. Will the remaining bet be cancelled? (or do I have to remove the "P" in the reff cell and leave just the number)
2. After the canceling of bet will there be any amount in matched amount cell ( column W) or it will become zero? or it will become "empty"?

to add:
If I enter with VBA the reff number and the trigger "CANCEL" (without deleting any other data) will there be any amount matched left in the relative cell after the cancelling of bet?
