remoting proxy has no channel sink...

Postby Tradyann » Tue Oct 29, 2013 4:17 pm

Hello,

I use COM interface with an application in C#.

I need to restart BA frequently (2 or 3 times per day), I think it's since i use multiple COM instance objects (multi tabs).

i have these lines in logs :

Code: Select all
29102013 15:05:51:495: System.Runtime.Remoting.RemotingException: This remoting proxy has no channel sink which means either the server has no registered server channels that are listening, or this application has no suitable client channel to talk to the server.

No, BA has failed after 2-3 hours... even if I have opened all ports for BA.

Always this message when BA is blocked :

2013-10-31 14:20:58.8775 DEBUG HomeController "System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x80004005): No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:8000

Application installed on a virtual private server is running well.

BA fails on a dedicated server (NAT).

i don't understand : rules in firewall are now strictly the same between VPS and dedicated.

VPS are ok.

On dedicated, BA always failed every 2-3 hours.

Nice. How did you now which port to open if I may ask. It doesn't say that on the logs.

8000 is the port used with COM (see software help).

for info, this command:

Code: Select all
netstat -ano
[/code]

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
