clock

Postby Roadhouse » Wed Jul 23, 2014 1:42 pm

Hi I have some code that I got off the forum that gives me the time before the race starts in seconds, counting down in intervals of 1second. However for the last two weeks the clocks seem to jump and count at intervals of more then 1 second for e.g. time before the race 30,26,23 etc instead of 30,29,28. Does anyone know how to solve this make the clock go back to counting at 1 second intervals ? Could this problem be cause by laptop as it's quite old? any help would be appreciated thanks.

You definitely have the refresh rate set to 1 second?

Hi Mark I have the refresh rate set to 1second. It's actually not code it's just Gary's excel formula that converts the time into seconds. However it just keeps counting at different intervals e.g. just now it was 35,31,23 etc before the last race started instead of 35,34,33

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
