Screen Resolution

Postby pugs » Thu Feb 22, 2007 1:26 pm

Hello

Just wondering what screen resolution the BA was designed for? My display set at 1024x768

The reason i ask is because i get a horizontal scroll bar between "betting options" and the market prices panel, plus a vertical one to the right of the "market information" scroll bar, both of which do nothing. If i manually drag the BA just 1mm wider than the "maximize screen" (top right box) then the horizontal scroll bar will dissapear. Neither appear on the Trader

Its not a problem, its just the BA looks cleaner without them and i wanted to know if anyone else got them, or is it just some strange anomoly with my pc.

Thanks for any reply's.

The pc I am using is 1280x800. I realise other resolutions don't look so good so I will be looking at this.

Oop's, my cheapo 19" monitor didn't like that setting at all, is that for widescreens? All the text looked like a printer that had run out of ink and i also lost my tray. When i reverted back to 1024x768 the tray came back but i had lost my "notifications" (bottom right in tray) and had to re-boot.

Everything looked and worked fine at 1152x864, well everything but my eyes (i need to surf less porn lol) If my onboard graphics had a 1024x about780 option i think it would be perfect, for me at least, but as i said its not a problem, its just a visual thing.

Thanks Gary & best regards, big day today mate gl.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
