Tennis Scores

Postby jrarmstrong » Thu Jul 07, 2016 1:46 pm

Hi,

Is there some guidance somewhere on how to get live tennis scores. I have tried selecting Tennis Scores from the market menu and ticked the Tennis Scores box when linking to Excel but neither works. The pop up/cells are just blank. The match is in play (Williams v Vesnina) and I have that market selected.

Thanks

The scores will be blank until the game is underway, I see you posted 15mins before the scheduled start, did they show up once it'd started?

Not sure if there's any guidance other than selecting Tennis scores from Market if you want the pop up or selecting tennis scores from additional columns if you want it in excel

Thanks Captain. Think the time shown is GMT rather than BST. I had loaded up www.flashscore.com to compare the speed of the Gruss scores and the game had definitely started

is it working for any tennis markets now that are also displaying scores on Betfair? It was working for me when I looked at the other Williams game.

And you're account is funded and not limited? Sometimes betfair restrict API (where the score data comes from) on restricted accounts.

I've tried everything I can think of over the last few days and still no luck. I have reinstalled BA on my Vista machine and on my Windows 8 machine and still no scores. My account is funded and not restricted so I am struggling to work out what is wrong

Hi Mark/Gary,

Can you clarify the position with this? It would be a useful tool but I cannot get it to work despite multiple attempts on different set-ups

Thanks

Do you have ticked "tennis scores" under
excel->log current prices->aditional columns (small window at right) - tennis scores

Hi mark/Gary

What's the situation with this? It may be user error but I doubt it. I have followed all the suggestions and still get no scores.

Thanks

Hi,

Do you have "Enable Triggered Betting" ticked also as it is required to get the Additional Column items.

Regards,
Mark

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
