Thanx heaps for adding the ability to use other currencies layit - it's so much easier trying to work out what time a race will jump when it tells u the time here rather then the time there

Some nice new touches since i last had a look (have been out of town) - great work

A question for everyone - does anyone use this with a dial up connection???

I'm gonna be living in some temporary accommodation out of town for a while and won't have access to my current broadband connection. My choices are dial up or spending the dollars to get a wireless connection.

The only reason i'd look at getting the wireless one is if i can't use betfair trader via a dial up connection.

Any ideas???

pier0, If you mean when I promoted Layit's software then yes. I'm not aligned to anybody all I have done on various threads is highlight free software that is available. Hardly call that spamming especially when there is no gain for me in doing so.

Yes, if you don't log in through Betfair Trader, you won't be able to place bets through it, whether you are already logged into Betfair or not.

Gary,

The program is great if I didnt make a couple of mistakes, as I am new I seem to have a problem with the stakes. If I change it from the default the bet still comes up as the default number so how. i.e if the default is 10 and I change it to 5 for a particular race and place a bet it comes up as 10 and not 5. Is it something I am doing wrong.

Thanks

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
