Gary,

I have a new version but am slightly unsure as to what it does? It appears to be all the controls on the top and the trading element below but is this a benefit?

Cheers

Nutter

PS top programme with every step so far but I have to admit this is a bit confusing?

Hi,

got 95a version, but when I want to put Excel>Log current prices, it asks me for the place to put them, but nothing happens. However, when I do Excel>Log indivudual prices, it works. What could be the problem?

Also, if I want the last version of Betting Assistant (until this bug is fixed), where can I download it?

Thank you.

betcat. Still trying to find out what the problem is.

nutter punter. I am trying to include what peope have asked for. The latest version only contains cosmetic changes. The benefits are a) You can see the level profit column without having to scroll on a 1024x768 display. b) you can hide the bets manager and betting options from the options menu giving you the whole screen for displaying prices if you require. c) The market tab indicates in play so you can tell even when viewing another market. I don't have much spare time at the moment, but have not ignored any requests for featrues and enhancements. I will put a list on the website when I have a moment.

Alexandru: Apologies, I haved fixed this (ver 0.95b)

The program keeps getting better and better. I notice people keep asking for enhancements - can I add a request of my own?

Would it be possible for the program to make a sound when an unmatched bet becomes matched? The sound would not be necessary when a bet is matched immedeately it is placed but it would be useful for those bets that have been kying for a while and you want immeadeate notice of a matching so you can take action.

Perhaps it could be an option so those users who would claim it annoying need not use it.

I realise you are busy and the program is free so I can understand if you feel unable to do this.

Cheers

to see what it does I suggest reading all of the posts. You'll find them very informative and they tell the whole story with sub-plots including dastardly deeds, villains, heros, scurrilous accusations, damsels in distress, dudes in bigger distress, broken hearts, broken banks, hope, wishful thinking, avarice, altruism and, the best part...... the ending hasn't even been written yet. Go on, treat yourself

That is a bloomin' good idea. Like a betfair simulator. That, and the auto lay/bet facility
This could be developing into the best freeware ever made!.

I would be glad to pay a nominal fee for a 'pro' version of this program that had an auto-trade facility and simulation mode.

Ive been letting the program run on its own now for two months and reaping the rewards, but like everyone the smaller stakers are getting in the way of maximising profits,i'm sure if the new upgrade only allowed wagers of £20 or more we'd all be better of in the long run.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
