You are providing a fantastic piece of kit for free.

IMHO any moaners should be shafted, with a 9x3, forthwith.

If you can enter the start time as part of a formula, increase this time by 45 min you can then display BACK if price > 2.3

Something like =if(and(cellwithcurrenttime>starttime+45,odds>2.5),"BACK","")

I know it's a bit scrappy, but as i'm at work i don't know how the layout would look. This should get you on the right road though.

Do you really only have 20 or so users,I thought we'd be up to the 80 mark by now, looking at the various posts on this thread...............

Ive set the new collating tangents for the cricket upgrade and hope to reap the benifits, watching those green numbers grow is like watching a blue peter appeal.....

Hi Layit,

You are doing an excellent job with this.

Noticed a slight problem with the dutching - if you select items 1,2 and 4 for a dutch, and then Betfair change the order of the items, you still remain with items 1,2 and 4 dutched - but they are different selections now.

Keep it up mate - it's great!

Gaseous,
cheers for that mate Ill give it a try, much appreciated. Bearing that in mind do your unmatched bets still get cancelled on Layit's program when a match turns in running or a goal is scored etc?

soccergeez - don't think we're on the same page with this one.

If you put the formula =IF(C2>TIMEVALUE("00:49:00")+TIMEVALUE("00:02:30"),"yes","no")
It will check the cell c2 (the clock that is constantly being updated from the trading software) and if the time in that is greater than 00:49 (yes, should be asleep by now) + 2.5 min, display "yes", otherwise display "no" 'til this happens.

Not sure if it's the layout of your workbook that is getting confusing. if you replace the 00:49 with the cell ref that you manually input to show the start of the game, 02:30 should be "00:45:00" to show 45 min.

LayityouMug may need to start another thread just for the excel stuff.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
