One wonders if he has something to sell in the same sought of line and its nowhere as good as this for free!!!

Why are you shelling out £200 per month?

Have you done some sort of deal with Betfair?

I wondered too.

Eh? Doing something for no personal gain isn't the same as shelling out £200 per month. Whats so cynical about asking a simple question?

No I haven't sniped at all. I've asked a few pertinent questions. I have nothing to sell. I just dont like BS. What are you scared of?

Why do you wish to censor me from asking a relevant question? Are you a freemason?

BTW your spelling is worse than mine.

Apologies if you took it the wrong way, but I thought that your insinuation the layit had "done a deal with betfair" was slightly cynical. A while ago i dished out a simple application on here for free and for other people to benefit from and it was nothing but hassle. Although most people appreciate a free lunch when they see one there are always those that are paranoid as to the motives of someone offering the lunch in the first place.
It was simply this that I was alluding to.
Who knows Layit may well go "professional" in the future but at the moment how can you have any complaints when you are not being charged.

I'm not paranoid about anything. I just wondered if he'd done a deal with BF.

Whats the point of shelling out £200 month if the HTML version works fine - as all the plaudits here seem to indicate.

BTW I dont use his program.

I didnt say it would be, I wasnt saying it was right or wrong just pointing out that its better for the hundreds of people who use layits app to be going trought the API rather than the main website.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
