1) If you click a lay but the prices have just gone I don't like the annoying box that pops up to say there are no prices. This is not required and obvious anyway because no matched/unmatched bets appear at the bottom.

2) The horse names seem a long way from the prices and might lead to clicking the wrong horse. An extra preference to not show the columns Rev, Dutch, Price History & WOM would be useful. If these columns cannot be removed an alternative would be to have a hidden column of selection names that appears to the left of the prices or the option fills the left arrow column with selection names and widens it.

Rollo you can close the rev dutch etc.Alter them to suit your style of betting by holding down left click on your mouse with the pointer in any of the boxes and drag.I always set it up with the runners next to the odds,by doing the above,i learnt the hard way!

Ruud Boy,
No there isn't as yet. Ask any questions here, that way the information stays together.

Can't help you there I'm afraid. Have you tried the obvious (rebooting, clearing temp files etc.). Otherwise I wouldn't know what the problem could be.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
