I realised I'd updated my ZoneAlarm firewall and it was blocking access.

Can someone just explain to me how to trigger a bet from Excel?

I can get the sheet running and displaying odds etc., and can write formulas and conditions into the trigger cell, but I can't work out how to actually make the spreadsheet place the bet.

I do have some knowledge of working with Excel, writing my own macros and progarmming with VB6, so I should be able to suss it out but maybe I am just blinded by the brilliance of the app!
