You have to install Microsoft Net framework.
If you go to Gary's webpage:-
<a href="http://www.gruss.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk" target="_blank">http://www.gruss.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk</a>
The link is given at the bottom of the page.
Hope this solves your problem

Don't know if this is of any help but I had the same error messages yesterday.
I realised I'd updated my ZoneAlarm firewall and it was blocking access.
Works ok again now.

Hello All.

I have been using Gary's prog for a couple of weeks now, but only just realised there was a good thread here on the BF forum.

Can someone just explain to me how to trigger a bet from Excel?

I can get the sheet running and displaying odds etc., and can write formulas and conditions into the trigger cell, but I can't work out how to actually make the spreadsheet place the bet.

I do have some knowledge of working with Excel, writing my own macros and progarmming with VB6, so I should be able to suss it out but maybe I am just blinded by the brilliance of the app!

Thanks to Layit for all the hard work and an excellent program. As soon as I double my bank I will send a share of my profits.

Thanks to everyone else who helps out on this forum.

Cheers!

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
