I think I've noticed something similar with the triggered betting function. If two 'in running' bets qualify in swift succession then the second bet is not submitted until after the first is processed by which time the odds may have changed.

I know that it will be fixed, but what do I do now? Still a virgin with this program!

Enzed. I put out version 0.98d this morning, not sure why it hasn't updated for you. If you refresh the market and then expand the tennis market WITHOUT clicking on the market name just the plus sign to the left then you should see the semi final matches.

Version 0.98e. Bets are now placed on a different program thread. This will be most evident in play where there is a delay. I have also added the average matched odds and matched stake to triggered betting.

Sorry Gary it was a bit vague. All I want to do is click on a horse to back in running. The blue box appears with the option to input amount and change odds. While this pop up box is on screen the rest of the market in the background freezes until you exit the pop up box.

Hope this helps - Thanks DD

I've fixed it. Close and re-opn the program to get version 0.98f. If it doesn't update (which sometimes it doesn't on the same day for some people) then email me and I'll email the program.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
