LAYIT, I have just noticed today that the "CLEAR" function in Excel no longer clears the Bet ID and Bet Time cells even thoggh $F$2 cell displays "Suspended"

My spreadsheet worked yesterday on UK horse racing but not today.

Hi LayiT!

The new version is a bit slower placing bets, especially when you update the odds. Is it true LayiT?

Is anyone else getting this error when starting the program?

Great additions Layit, haven't had a chance to try yet though.

Noob question: I don't actually understand how average odds and stake work, and I think it could be useful now.

If I have a mixture of backs and lays, how does it work?

Yep it's on the spreadsheet, 2 new columns next to bet ref and bet time.

I just don't understand how it is calculated with a mixture of backs and lays.

Thanks guys for replying I thought was going blind. I have tried to use the excel sheet before but find it a bit complicated so I just stick with the standard programme.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
