One problem this evening. Don't seem to be able to select any of the markets for tonights soccer fixtures. Subsequent nights expand OK.

I've been able to get the markets for the Arsenal game OK although I couldn't find them going through the Soccer Fixtures route.

Thanks for sending your program, Gary.

Could someone help me, please? I believe I am misunderstanding how it is used. I have received 2 versions and have been unable to submit wagers on either. I have tried changing stakes, odds, and clicking on everything in the top spart of the screen. Also submitting wagers in the bottom (bfair half of the screen). Thanks in advance. Laver

Layit I have a suggestion for an improvement for 1 click betting. At the moment the user has to tick or untick the box but I wonder if it would be better if it always defaulted to verify bets allowing the user to change odds/bet size and if you held down the shift key for example overiding this safety feature and allowing 1 click betting. It is quite a natural thing for a user to do and I believe it would really speed things up from a users point of view.

What do others think?
What do you think Layit?

Bit scary this morning - waking up to see a whack more posts in the thread and thinking - oh, might be a new release and then to see Layit thinking of not releasing anymore - i nearly choked on my Rice Bubbles.

Luckily all is back to normal

The way i see it is that we are all Beta version testers - we are taking the risks (very small ones) using the product and hopefully helping with the development of the program by our constructive feedback - well that's how it's meant to work

As for the currency issue Layit - the dutching didn't work for me in aussie dollars so i opened a pound account - i realise that working in other currencies is somthing for versions way down the track.

Keep up the great work - champion effort

WombleOZ,

go inside control panel, international options, personalize:
here you can change the separator from the , to a .

It might be a data problem as well, in case play around with the date format.

If you click on the backing market and enter odds like 2.85 (not to betfairs regulations) then it will not get entered into the system.

Using it tonight on AC Milan v PSV Match!

Cheers mate!

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
