Gaseous,
some more advice would be great if you are around today!
I have the clock installed now so all my prices update automatically during the match. I now need a formula which basically says if the current available price is bigger than my price back the selection, however i only want it to back it once not continually back it every time the prices change and are still bigger than mine.

Also my spreadsheet contains prices for all sorts of markets, correct score, match odds, next goal etc etc is there any way I can have all these markets current prices downloaded from Layit's program at the same time so I could in effect place bets over several markets at the same time?

Soccergeez,
Sounds like you need something like:

IF(A2>A1,"BACK","")

in the trigger column, just substitute your relevant cells where I have put A1 & A2.

Hope this helps.

Thanks again GM. Do you know if its possible to download more than one market from Layit's program and have them running on the spreadsheet simultaneously?

Yes but only three on my computer anyway. I've put up a post earlier asking if three is the maximum or not. Ideally I would want 21; to cover all the day's horseracing.
See if you can get more than three, if you can then it's a problem my end.
Cheers

Ok I can download a fair few ( got up to 8 then gave up) but the clock only ticks on the last market downloaded so presumably the prices also only change on the last downloaded market, so not much good for me.

I tried to get it to work with a different market on a different spreadsheet and could only get it to log three.

It was spread over 2 pages of spreadsheet, 4 on page 1 and 4 on page 2 - did the markets continue to update on yours?

Layit, I presume there is nothing I can do to get the markets continually updating on my sheet when I have more than one on there?

Hi LayitYouMug,
I've just tried it again with no problems at all. Yesterday it just did nothing when I attempted to log prices to a fourth worksheet. Seems it must have been a problem with my computer.
Thanks once again this triggered betting is dynamite.

Soccergeez,
Thanks for your help but it's fixed now.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
