COM Interface

Can someone briefly let me have their thoughts regarding this interface's merits relative to the straight Excel one. I have a good in-running algorithm being triggered using Excel but as we all know, milliseconds matter, so I'm wondering if there will be any real advantage using the COM interface.
I must admit I dont really understand what the COM Interface actually is, other than a possible method to interface with more complex scripts written in other languages. Would I find there is a time advantage when triggering bets d'you think ?
Any comments would be helpful.

I also tried to translate my Excel strategy into the COM interface language. It turned out that the Excel triggers are much more comfortable and it requires a lot of programming in the COM interface to achieve things that Excel triggers do automatically. I don't really know which method is faster but I can't imagine that the difference is substantial. If your Excel algorithm works well then I wouldn't switch. Never change a winning team. :wink:

Thanks for the advice. I wouldn't have changed my current setup unless there was a significant time advantage.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software
