You're right of course, (I can't afford to give it away - wife and kids and all that), but I can confirm that KilburnKen's post is a veritable treasure trove of clues...any idea what year it was posted?

Lex & Layit - I have bet-ie on the 7 day free trial (updated version with bugs ironed out and improvents to the hedge function insurance bet). It is a semi automated betting strategy that leaves much to be desired.

For 2 days it worked fine because the odds did drift. I was much pleased. On the third day I discovered a serious flaw in the program to my cost. On the 3 occaisions when the odds went the wrong way the insurance bet was not placed.

In any case it takes ages to get a bet on and it would probably miss its window with the delay anyway.

Carry on Layit. Your offering is far superior.

Bet-ie's strategy can be carried out manually with your single click program. In fact the insurance bet is best placed with your previous single click prog with back odds set at 1.01 to grab anything it can. ( the strategy itself may have some merit. It would have to be followed more than 7 days to find out but it definitely aint worth the money )

<i>p.s. leave layit alone to get on with it lol</i>

program like Layit. Keep up the good work,Layit,I have spent a small fortune on almost every
program that has come out and yours is better than all of them.

LayItYouMug, have you considered going 'open source' as a project ? I emailed you earlier regarding this but didn't get a reply (spreadbetting). A lot of the cristiscm you're getting is pointless but some of it makes good sense and two heads are always better than one.

Layit - I am becoming saddened. Your program is exceptional...

I feel that there are comments being made on this thread by people who have a commercial interest in another (inferior) product. Or, indeed, have purchased another product and do not like to think they have wasted money....

If you think commercial products are better then uninstall it and go buy them. Its the easiest optiion. I mean, you have all the help and backup you will ever need and its guaranteed to work as advertised isn't it ????????????

If you believe gruss is after your login details then why have you downloaded it in the first place ??????????????

And I'm sorry but the thread regarding open source code beggars belief. It just highlights how good this program is (more potential than autobet pro) and they want source code for free .... sounds dodgy to me !!!!!!!!!!

Stop all the mudslinging in LayItYouMug's direction. He is to be commended for providing such a tool for use by ordinary punters.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
