Forum not showing Support section

Postby spreadform » Sun Jul 04, 2010 3:54 pm

Forum link on home page takes me to http://gruss-software.co.uk/forum/, where the Support section (Suggestions, Bug reports) is not showing. When I made a new post yesterday, this section was back again.

Are you sure you weren't logged out at the time. The bug reports section is only visible if you are logged in. We changed this a few months back. We only want registered users viewing bugs reports and suggestions.

Hi,

Not sure if it is relevant to this post but there is a comma on the end of the
link making it fail to load? Otherwise I have no problems accessing the forum?

Ttfn - Michael :)

Gary: It's possible that I was logged out at the time.
Michael: The comma has no relevance, I added that within my post. It's unfortunate that the editor renders it as part of the URL.

And now I can see the support section from http://gruss-software.co.uk/forum/ (definitely logged in).

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
