Had this problem a few months now . All well for an hour or 2 most days then refresh becomes unstable and Gruss becomes unusable . Have to switch off and start over . Problem worsens the longer the day goes on . Anyone else having similar problems ? cheers :?

There isn't a bug in the version you are using that I am aware of that could cause this problem. It's more likely to be something to do with your connection, but I'm not sure what as restarting the program doesn't fix this sort of problem. You could try rebooting your router if you haven't done so in a while.

This is probably a longshot as I've never seen it cause a problem before. Every time an error is encountered it is written to the file name BA_Diagnostic.txt in "C:\temp\Betting Assistant Logs"
When the refresh starts to go erratic check if this file is particularly large and if it is steadily increasing in size. If some kind of error is being logged on every refresh it could be that the increasing file size is causing a problem. Restarting the program clears this file which would explain why that helps.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
