yes remove them completely
so i can get a daily p/l by bot

to be honest i don't see a reason for the results to be there in the next day as long as after some more (new) bets they start to get "mixed" and the previous day results are erased --- in the end of the day you don't know which are this days results and which not...

Sorry I don't know why I didn't mention this before. It doesn't clear the list automatically, but there is a trigger to do this. -7 in cell Q2 will clear the results so you could write some VBA to insert this at midnight for example.

My problem is that even if i manual delete the previous result, even with -7 trigger, the result sheet keeps updating the the previous day results when you move to the next market after you place some bets...

It shouldn't be doing that. I will investigate.

I couldn't find anything wrong with the -7 trigger apart from the known issue that it only clears the list internally and not on the worksheet. It will now clear the worksheet. Can you try the next release before I do the auto update?

Please install version 1.1.0.66x40 using the link below.

Hi Gary

Back to square 1 again. The results are not updating correctly and if necessary I can mail you my comparison again between betfair and your result sheet.

Can you try and fix this please.

Am I the only one having so many issues??

You are the only user who is reporting this issue so this is very strange. A comparison won’t help because it does not prove that Betting Assistant placed the missing bets. I will have to produce a test version for you which logs more information to try and trace the problem. In the meantime if it happens again before I send this test version please send the existing diagnostic log. It is named BA_Diagnostic.txt and is located in “c:\temp\Betting Assistant Logs”

ps. If many users had all the issues you are experiencing then we would be out of business so it is unusual.

I sent you an email on 30th December with a link to download a test version so I can diagnose the problem. It doesn't look like you have installed this version. I have re-sent the email today. Can you confirm receipt?

menlolot: I also answered an earlier query and also have doubts you received this email. It was regarding updating partially matched bets. I recommend using the UPDATE trigger because you don't need to work out the remaining stake, it is done for you.

Here is a video demonstrating UPDATE. I have self matched on a quiet market to demonstrate a partial match.
http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/videos/ ... Excel.html

Notice how I don’t change anything in the stake column. UPDATE triggers a new bet for the remaining stake, not the original stake.

Sorry, my mistake. It was because I can see you are not using the version I sent you and I deleted your reply by mistake. My only concern was that you would think I am not trying to help. If you were not receiving my emails then the forum would be the only way of contacting you. Also I haven't posted anything confidential.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
