Postby toto28 » Wed Apr 20, 2011 9:28 pm

Hello
I'm new to the forum
Where in the wrong Stop loss - put a bet on software 2,5 back and put a stop loss at 2,6 but not sold at 2,6? (stop loss mark Enabled odds 2,6 level loss)

or just someone to write all the marks Stop loss for back 2,5 and stop loss 2,6

I'm sorry, your post does not make much sense, probably lost in translation.

Stop loss does work.

Why stop loss at 2.6 if backing at 2.5? Normally you would set the odds lower than your back odds.

There a few things you can do to prevent stop loss working that you may not be aware of.
1. Do not change markets. It will stop monitoring the stop loss.
2. Enter your stop loss settings before you place the bet. You can not apply stop loss to an existing bet.

Will the "chased unmatched" work with the ladder?
Do I have to tick "trading" under "betting options if I am using the ladder?
I notice that in the trading video's that I've watched that the green up is performed after all trades rather than trade by trade. Are there pro's and con's for both methods?

Yes it will.

No.

It doesn't have to be done after all trades. You can tick "auto level" when using the tick offset feature and each trade will be greened up automatically. Please view the user guide and read about "tick offset" under "Betting Options" if you have not already done so. See http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/Betting ... p/help.htm

I am not going to offer an opinion on whether it is better to green up trade by trade or after all trades. I will leave that up to you to decide.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
