problem with bet today

firstly, apologies for the long post, but....

i laid Lady Jameela for £344.83 at odds of 1.29 (liability £100) with a 1 tick offset earlier and the bet was getting matched so i was at the front of the queue with about £3k behind me and only £200 or so at 1.3 so i was more than likely to get both bets matched at that point. £60.84 was already matched and the offset was matched also, but then the remaining lay just disappeared. it wasnt matched as the profit/liability never changed. wasnt sure if it was a problem with betfair again so i greened up the matched £60.84 and cancelled all bets just in case. The £283.99 that disappeared was showing as cancelled in the betfair account page but i never actually cancelled it myself so not sure what happened. I did have a 2 tick stop loss set but the price never went down that low at that point and as i said my profit/liability never changed and i didnt have fill or kill set either. Just curious as to what may have happened as ive never seen that before.

There was a non runner in the race so lay bets would have been canc elled if there was a r4 deduction, no idea what time that occured though was it around the same time?

must have been withdrawn before i'd bet or while i was writing that post as there wasnt a "suspend" any horse showing blank in the back/lay which normally happens for a withdrawn horse at the point the bet cancelled.

I'm afraid I can't tell from that log. I recommend updating to the Beta version which has totally rewritten tick offset/stop loss code which I believe is more reliable, also it logs more information about bets being cancelled. See http://gruss-software.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6341

no worries. I was just curious. Been using it all day and it hasnt done it again so looks like it was just a one off. Ive installed the beta version now anyway thanks
