Gary
at the example above i had 1 BA open 4 tabs to 4 excel all in the same market (horse markets)

Now I have 1 BA 1 tab to 1 excel
The market is Correct Score and it is selected from coupon markets,
so there are several markets in the same tab

in the begging BA used ~180mb memory
now after 2-3 hours is on 790 mb (do you believe that it is normal?)

my vps specs are
2.4 ghz
1.5 GB Memmory

That is very high. There must be a leak somewhere. Please leave it with me.

mak: Correct score markets have 17 selections per market and when using coupon view this can add up. It might be the recording of price history for charts that is using up the memory because it is recording the price every refresh for all these selections. Can you check if you have set the option in general preferences "Record up to ... of chart history". If it isn't already zero then try changing it to zero and see if that helps.

It should let you change it to 0 so that it doesn't record prices at all.

Sorry, didn't express it right
I have already set it to 0 and will let you know

I just wondering if I could set in (in general) to half hour (0.5) or the minimum price to record is one hour ?

** Nevertheless
Before a while I had to restart BA

I had 2 BA' open
a. 4 tabs 4 excel
b. 1 tab with all in play Correct score market connect to 1 excel

Memory was fine, at least before I log of my vps
for all of them with firefox was around 750mb

BA with correct score was at 130mb for almost an hour which I guess is fine...

Something must be wrong with new excel bot, but really don't know why

When I connected to vps again, task manager was showing memory 750mb (where I left it)

The strange thing is that firefox was working, excel wasn't updating of course but it wasn't frozen.

Only BA was froze completely. It was at the middle of the race (which had end by that time).

Usually BA is the only thing that it still running when the rest of windows are down
:)

Hi Gary I have discovered that Windows closed down my computer unexpectently. It restarted obviously without reloading BA I had wrongly assumed that BA had closed itself Regards Michael

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
