Hi all,

just a quick question..

"would submit a lay bet which if not matched when the market turns 'in play' would not be cancelled and the odds converted to Betfair SP providing your liability is at least 10 GBP. Betfair adjust your stake so that the liability remains the same as when you intitially submitted the bet."

what's about markets without IP action?? any chance to match to BSP??

Hi,

Betfair SP only applies to horse racing markets that are turned in play.
If the market is one that doesn't go in play then Betfair won't be offering SP on that market.

Mark

Hi,

I stand corrected, Betfair do offer SP on RSA races which don't go in play.
The point is you can bet at BSP using Betting Assistant where Betfair actually offer it.
So you can use the option "SP in Play" where unmatched bets are converted to BSP even though the race isn't one that actually goes in play as long as Betfair offer SP on the race.
BSP is not offered on all markets.

Regards,
Mark

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
