It's simply the total amounts divided by each other. If anyone has got suggestions on how to improve the calculation, please let me know.

The update program hasn't changed. If you got 0.87f today then it must be capable of updating to 0.88. Can you try closing the program and re-opening.

Can you check the folder 'program files\Betfair Trader' and open the file CurrentVersion.txt. What version does it say?

Layit. Personally I think it would be better if the WOM colours were the other way round. i.e blue to suggest you should be backing ( for trading purposes )
What does everyone else think?

Are you using the shortcut that it adds to your programs menu and desktop to open the program or are you opening the program Betfair Trading.exe directly? The shortcut points to BetfairTraderLauncher.exe which checks for the update and then opens Betfair Trading.exe.

Is it possible that your firewall is not allowing BetfairTraderLauncher.exe to access the internet?

I've had no problems with updates until this one. I log on enough that I've seen pretty much every update you've had. For some reason this one didn't work. I'm opening it through the icon you provided. I just tried on the desktop again with no luck.

I can't see it as I'm still getting 8.7f, but it sounds like the colours would make more sense the other way round.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
