Multiple Games with one bot spreadsheet

Postby eduardoneco » Sat Feb 16, 2013 1:20 pm

Hello, everyone....

I have a spreadsheet for correct score soccer games, and work fine. But my question is:

- Can I have multiple games open with the same spreadsheet???
- Or do I need open various BA or various spreadsheets for each game??

I don´t know how to do it....

Need your help, please....

When you log to Excel there is a little box that says "Top left hand cell",
usually contains "a1" but if you change this to say "a15" then when you
link to spreadsheet all BA data is inserted commencing from there.

This allows you to link more events into the same spreadsheet...

Hope this is what you were looking for?

Another way is to load all your markets into the first tab/page of BA and then
link them all at once into your same spreadsheet.

Thank you 2020vision for your quick reply....

As you know there are many soccer games that begins at same time (+-), so if I do second way that you say, load all markets in the first page, does the spreadsheet reconize them all and launch the bets?

Do you think that if the spreadsheet is "reading" ex. 10 games at the same time, the requests (20) will not be passed?

As far as I know whatever is in the first tab will be linked fine to your
spreadsheet in an orderly fashion regardless of times? They should appear
in the same order you put them into the first tab too.

As for passing the 20 requests you can set throttling at whatever limit you
require - >Options>Preferences>Throttling tab

I assume at this point you realise that your conditions will have to be
"dragged" or input down the spreadsheet?

Hello again....

I have 3 questions for the masters here.....

1- How can I choose, in the spreadsheet, only the races I want??? I mean, how can I bet only the 2M and 3M horse races?? Is there a formula in excel that can read the races names??

2- My bot is working like I want, but the results in the 3rd sheet don´t appear right. I put a back bet and then a tick offset and a stoploss. But in the results sheet, only appear the back bets... Is there a way that the results show me the right profit/loss???

3- Is there a way that I can record the odds, in a spreadsheet, of the horses when the market goes in-play?? I don´t want record the hole race, just the beginning odds... Record the beginning odds on all races in a spreadsheet....

I guess this is all for now....

Thank you very much for your attention,
Eduardo Cruz

Just do a search of the forum those questions have been asked before, I don't know the answers off hand but a search will find them.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
