I assume that the conditions for your bet to be triggered are not met.
Add code to record the conditions

I will try and be more specific. The conditions of the bet

IF(R$1<0.0002,"BACK","")

Where R$1 refers to time countdown and triggers at around 20 seconds before scheduled OFF time.

The trigger cell reads "BACK" and places bets referring to odds and stake columns correctly.
On further use of the sheet after downloading a future race the "BACK" is displayed at the correct time but does not activate the bet on the Betting Assistant site.

I am wondering if I need to clear some residue data from the used excel sheet.

I am trying again this afternoon and will update if necessary

When you connect the BA to Excel "Enable Triggered Betting" in options must be ticked. Is it?

There is a requirement that the Bet Reference column is blank which is to prevent the software going into a loop and placing bet after bet.
So as soon as bet is made the Bet Reference column is populated with the reference from Betfair.
You can blank the column by using the CLEAR trigger or just blank it manually.
There are options for clearing the bet ref column automatically when a new market is selected either manually or automatically.
You set these options when you initially start logging to Excel.

Mark

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
