Agree, though, that it would be (even) better if the WOM colours were reversed.

I don't understand yet why you can't update it, but the version on the site a few minutes ago was 0.87, not 0.87f and therefore it must have updated to 0.87f when you re-installed from the site which suggests that your computers are somehow caching the version from this morning. At the moment I haven't a clue how that could happen. I need to do some research.

ive had a thought and it could be a shot in the dark, the automatic windows update on my computer is set to check for uploads at 12 daily, im wondering if its something connected to that, ive changed it to 21:00 , i havnt been on comp all day but the wife said she was on at dinner and it said something about files updated and computer needed to restart, ive never known that to happen before so i reckon that was the 0.86e updating to 0.87f , i could be way off the mark but im counting the minutes till 9 just incase ive struck gold.

Superb stuff Layit. It just gets better and better. No problems at all with the auto update from me.

To the people having problems, have you tried deleting your temp files in IE? It could be that the old files are being cached. Not sure if that is a problem, just a shot in the dark but everything is worth a try

To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
