Just a thought for Gary. It would be nice to have a timer on the api That starts on the "suspend" for the race going in play. It would help with the furlong sectionals?.
Dunno if this is in your thoughts or if its possible

the old "Discombobulator" by gubbed? used to refresh at 2 rates, one for the first % of race and another for the end %, set by assumed race time on going etc
