I think I have finally cracked the problem of getting the same results consistently across different replay speeds using tick offset, stop loss, chase stop loss etc. I just need to do a bit more testing. I then need to solve the latest issue with doubled profit. I hope to release an update soon.

I have also created a poll. Would appreciate your feedback. See viewtopic.php?f=13&t=11093

I've noticed a few times that when a full day's win races are loaded and bets placed on each, the last race's results don't always appear in the Results tab (or do appear as RESULT_NOT_AVAILABLE).

Is the timeline extended far enough past the end of the last race to get the results?

Thanks it was helpful. I found a way to cause this and fixed it. Hopefully it was the only way. I will release an update in the next few days.

I will look into this.

I've found the above problem can be avoided by stopping the final race as soon as it goes "Closed" (then issuing a -6 to Q2).

All the other bugs I've reported seem ok in 1.3.1.0h. Thanks.

Otherwise all I'd say is that when loading many markets it would be nice to have a message box confirmation on completion, rather than having to scroll down to the bottom of the QPL to visually check.

I've yet to replicate the issue with last race, I'll keep investigating. I was thinking about an overall progress bar in middle of the screen. I'll see what I can do.

I am working on making it more efficient. Can you please be more specific? Which market? Is it with just one market or multiple markets concurrently and is it when linked to Excel or not? 32x will not be possible in all circumstances.

Sorry, but 32x speed is not going to be possible with 5 tabs linked to Excel.

Sure it did in earlier versions. Possible to install a earlier version and disable auto updates?

Seems ok to me. I haven't had to fix anything and they are there. Maybe a server glitch when you looked.

Sorry no. Let's see how you get on with the next update which will be released in the next few days. You will not be able to update 5 markets each 32 x per second all linked to Excel. In earlier versions it was skipping updates in Excel so only appeared to be.

Is Huntingdon 6th March visible to anyone else? I would be grateful if anyone can confirm in case I need to investigate further.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
