Man, that edit button... What I really want to know is whether "FULLSTREAM-ON/OFF" works with Coupons just the same?

My Excel workbook is designed for multiple markets using a Coupon, and I understand that it isn't possible to set individual refresh rates that way. But can I still use the Q2 special trigger to change the refresh rate for all the markets?

You can change the refresh rates manually for each market in a coupon. If you click on the the market name above the grid you select that market. It will turn blue to indicate it is selected. You can then change the refresh rate.
The Q2 trigger works. Just enter the refresh rate in the cell next to "Refresh rate" for each market.

Yes this also works. Just enter "FULL-STREAM-ON" or "FULL-STREAM-OFF" in the cell next to "Refresh rate" for each market. There is a minor bug where the full stream tick box is not ticked to reflect this for the 2nd market onwards. I will fix this in he next release.

Thank you Gary. But I must ask the following because in an email reply Mark clearly informed me to the contrary! And I'd think it would be useful for future viewers as well.

When you say enter the Q2 trigger "for each market", do you mean that the corresponding Q2 cell for any of the markets in a Coupon can change the global refresh rate and streaming settings, i.e. the change applies to all markets in the Coupon? Or indeed that each market in a Coupon has its own individual refresh rate and streaming settings that can be changed using any given market's corresponding Q2 cell?

Yes, this is what I mean. Sorry I should have also mentioned that if you use FULL-STREAM-ON/OFF in the first market it will apply this to all the markets. You can however use FULL-STREAM-ON/OFF on the remaining markets afterwards to set them individually.

Well that's great news to me. And thank you also for the new trigger to load QPL markets into a Coupon - cracking work, as always.

I didn't intend this overly long thread but hopefully the to and fro might help other learners too. Happy Xmas to all.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
