How Customise Bet Size On The Ladder?

Postby Powerstretch2 » Thu Apr 17, 2025 11:11 am

Hi there,

A total Newbie question, can anyone advise how I can change the default bet size on the Ladder, whilst using the one click feature?

I don't want to use the default bet size options at the bottom of the ladder (2/5/10) I want to be able to enter my own. There is a 0.00 button which turns green when clicked on and which looks like it may be customisable, but it does seem to be overwritable!

Thanks!

OK, this is the first time on this Forum that no one has replied, so this must have been an incredibly stupid question!

So, let me ask a different one! At the bottom of the ladders are default numbers for the single click feature, 2,5,10 etc. There is aso 0.00, which turns green when you click it!

So, my question is, is the 0.00 something customisable and if so how, or just Zero!?

Hi there,

Thank you for your time, actually you can click on the pre-set tabs at the bottom of the ladder (2,5,10 etc) just once to activate! But the 0.00, what is that for??

I had assumed it could be used to place custom 'one click' bets, but have yet to find a way of customising it! Can someone explain why you would place a bet of 0.00 if so??

Can Gary help, or is he on holiday?

It's just the net matched stake. If you have £10 matched in back bets and £7 matched in lay bets it will contain £3 for example.

Hi Gary,

Thank you for getting back to me and resolving this.

So, no problem, that would be wishful thinking on my part then!

Sorry I thought you had the answer you needed. You can double click the stake buttons at the bottom of the ladder to change their values giving you custom stakes. Is this not what you were asking for?

Hi Gary,

No, that's fine, thank you. I meant that I had hoped the 0.00 key was for customising my own one click bet sizes.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
