I did read that and I'm glad to hear you reiterate this. Did BF make the same point to you?
I am interested to know what BFs attitude is, have they been in contact at all?

Gerry

Why do my reasonable observations/questions upset you so much?
Are you scared LayIt will spit the dummy and withdraw the program?

I have not made any such suggestion, nor have I criticised LayIt whatsoever.
If you don't want to read anything that isn't simply fawning drivel or sychophantic requests for enhancements put your hands over your eyes.

Some may think that once the program is up and running fine then thats it done and dusted. But things don't work that way. It's reasonable for me to make others aware of this - even if it upsets you.

I think they would if you screwed something up.

For instance IIRC some API users were mistakenly logging in with each transaction and BF reckoned that was causing site problems.

I never said anything was did I?

Don't get paranoid old chap.

Oh, just thought, another reason they might be interested is if it screwed up their revenue stream from the API.

You may be a dimwit, and think when layit moves on the program may work in perpetuity. It wont.

Does that help?

Do you fall in to the "fawning drivel" class of contributor?

Anyway I'm off.

Cheerio.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
