Gary I love this programme.

Thankyou very much.

Any chance of having an average odds or consolidated price? This may be useful to some of us who put lots of bets on as Betfair naturally break up each bet into small clips which is annoying if you want to just know how much you have on at one level.

nutter punter. That will require quite a bit of additional programing due to the way it works currently, but I realise it's something people will want so I will include this feature when I can.

Hi Layit!!

I 've tested the program with euros currency. The trading mode is not working correctly. I mean, I place a bet (ex: back 5 euros at 2.5). Then, I click trading mode, selecting that bet and running. Then I always see that the selection is orange, not changing to red or green. So, I suppose that it's not working correctly but I don't understant why.

Anyway, new version looks like better and better.

Congratulations

I think I know what's going on with Euros accounts. The program knows you staked 10 euros for example, but the bets manager shows it in pounds. It is comparing the two amounts and they will never be the same therefore it never thinks your bet is matched. I think I'll have to open a euros account and see what the Betfair server expects in the requests that the program makes when updating the bets.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
