Over 3 seconds in that last race at Redcar and it's been an intermittent problem these last 3 or 4 days. Anyone else suffering from this, or know what the reason might be?

Hi,

Are you using below minimum stakes as it would take 3 seconds in play for the bet to be processed by Betfair.

Regards,
Mark

Hi,

No mark, just normal stakes in running. The last race at Newmarket was just under 3 secs while the Ayr race was 1266ms. It's been all over the shop these last few days, some bets didn't even go through towards the ends of races, must have been 5 or 6 secs, a few have been that long that have gone through.

Hi,

Ok, sounds like you've either got a bad connection to Betfair i.e. your requests are getting delayed on route to Betfair or the Betfair API itself is playing up which has happened on a Saturday before now.
You will just have to keep an eye on it and see if it improves.

Regards,
Mark

Been bad again today, plenty at 6 secs, 4 secs, 2 secs and lots in between.

Looking on the internet there was a reference to something similar on April 27th on Gruss software at Twitter that affected only Virgin broadband customers which I'm on, could this be something similar and what was the solution back in April?

Could be. There is no solution unfortunately if the problem is with Virgin. It's always worth rebooting your PC and router though as it could be a problem at your end.
