COM Server

I have looked at the Help page that talks about the COM server and have found the examples to work with Excel.

However, is it possible to talk to the BA COM server from within another Windows program? In essence, I want to hook up to BA from within Visual Studio 2005 so that I can create a program that uses BA as its interface to Betfair.

Is this possible?

Sorry for the late response, this should be possible. I'll put an example together when I get a free moment in the next week or so.

Note to self : Yes it is possible

I had a problem using the com object that was in the references when I however referenced the dll itself all seams to work ok ...... I am able to comunicate with BA via com from Vb.net program dirrectly.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software


The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.
