Log current prices to excel problem

Postby laffo16 » Sun Jan 27, 2008 7:10 pm

Hello everyone, im laffo16, i've just registered up. Im trying to display my current active market in excel using "Log Current Prices" to Excel feature. I have Microsoft Excel 2003 edition. I open up an excel doc, then run the feature, but it does not detect the workbook name or work sheet names etc. Am i missing something? i just get empty combo boxs.

Try closing Excel and then display the task manager (alt-ctrl-del). End any processes named Excel.exe then re-open Excel. Does this help?

does the software check for updates when started and then re-occuring checks happen every 10 minutes or so?

Hi laffo16

To close a TAB, right click anywhere in the market page and select Close.

thanks Castillo! As one of my first targets, i'll be developing a script which extracts the racing data from the auto-updating excel sheet, and storing them on seperate excel sheet, with timestamps. effectivly recording each races flow of odd's and money within the 5-10 minutes before the race starts. All in the aid of trying to identify a good automated stratagie to exploit. I'm guessing scripts like this already exsist. Any suggestions on this matter?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
