Subscription expired?

Postby mikedmc » Mon Jun 23, 2008 10:36 am

B.A. is telling me today that my subscription has ended yet I subscribed to B.A. last month and I thought it was paid automatically every month. Do I have to go through the subscription process again?

Account ****.

Thank you.
Michael.

The subscription payment failed. It will automatically try again on 25th June. Unfortunately I cannot tell you why the payment failed. One reason can be insufficient funds in the PayPal account. If this is not the case then it maybe easier just to create a new subscription.

To create a subscription open the following link and click on the PayPal image https://vault2.secured-url.com/Betting_ ... scribe.php

In the meantime I've added 7 days to your expiry so you can continue to use the program.

Thank you for the extension. I've checked my paypal account and noticed my wife did have a little shopping spree yesterday and used funds from the paypal account. However it is still showing a balance in dollars of $29.54 equivalent to £14.67. Wouldn't it have taken it from this or do I need to add GBP funds for the subscription? If you don't know, I will just subscribe again.

All the best.
Michael.

It does not matter what currency your money is in, also you should have backup funding, mine is linked to my bank account so if not enough funds in paypal it will draw from my savings account.

When you are in paypal you should be able to see the gruss subscription, make sure it still says active and it will give you the next payment date.

It should have worked in my opinion, but PayPal isn't perfect. Please wait until it tries again tomorrow. I will let you know if it has worked.

Will do.

After reading Shaun's reply I have checked my paypal account and apart from the payment for last month on the 22nd May I cannot find any mention of gruss subscription. Where do I find the subscription details to confirm that it is indeed active or not?

PayPal's help says the following.

1) Click My Account.
2) Click History at the top of the page.
3) Select Subscriptions from the Show menu.
4) Tick the From box and change the date back two years.
5) Click Search.
6) Click Details to view the details of a specific Subscription Creation.

Did that and found the subscription details. The error was failed due to funding source. It was trying to take subscription from an old credit card, I have now changed it to the new credit card. Still not sure why it didn't take it from funds already in Paypal account though.

BA is throwing up the subscribe by paypal.
If you click OK it turns BA off.
I have been to my paypal account and there is nothing coming out for this month.
Is the issue at my end?

The credit card attached to the paypal account must have expired as there were no credit cards on the account.

I see someone else saying they cannot pay by paypal unless a credit card is attached to the account.
I have now added a credit card.
I have paid the sub manually using admin@gruss-software.co.uk for this month.

Let know if there are any problems.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
