The latest version which is still not officially released can be downloaded using the link below. You must first uninstall the current version using the windows control panel.

Hi

Tried to install this after deleting version 38 but I got an error about a corrupt cabinet file.

What do I do now ?

Corrupt cabinet file probably means the download didn't work correctly - try downloading again

The installation file is not corrupt. When you have this problem it's best to close all browsers and try again. If you don't close all browser windows you could end up going round in circles :(

Hi

Something odd is going on then. I tried the install again with all browsers and any other programs shut down and still got the same message about a corrupt cab file. This was obviously after I had removed the .20 version using the procedure in Control Panel.

On returning to the gruss web site I re downloaded the .20 version and installed that without problem and that was with the Internet Explorer pogram still running.

I am running XP pro with Service Pack 3

Any other suggestions ?

Regards

The file is definitely not corrupt. I tested the download and it installs ok and I know that other users have it working. You must somehow be getting a cached version which didn't download correctly. Do you still have the problem?

Download it but when you save as - change the file name to something else. That way a new file is downloaded and not a cached file.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
