Quickly selecting specific races

Postby rugbygav » Thu Dec 18, 2008 10:31 am

Hi all,

Is there a faster way to select specific horse races.

I don't want to choose the "all uk races" function as I don't want to bet on all the races.

Currently I drag the races over one by one, but this can take a long time if choosing races for the next 24hrs.

Any suggestions?

Sorry, there is no quicker way than dragging the races from the markets tree to the quick pick list, but surely this only takes a few minutes?

Gary, instead of the dragging motion required, would it be possible to tick (and untick) the required markets.

I can sometimes have upto 15 football markets open, and it is very annoying when I incorrectly drag the wrong game in, as I then have to start from the start again - at least I presume it is not possible to "undrag" a market out of the middle pane?

You don't have to start again, you can select the market on the quick pick list then use the delete key to remove it.

I don't use the quick pick list though, as I am interested in u/o 2.5 goals in football markets. Have I been missing something?

Are you are talking about viewing multiple markets on the same tab?
If you add a market that you don't want there is an 'X' in the top left hand corner of the market. You can click this to remove it.

Doh, thanks for pointing that out to me. I have tried to undrag it from the main pane, but failed miserably

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
