Sally. The alt back column was added at a user's request. It may not be useful for most people, but he wanted it for in running. It will back at the current back odds using an alternative stake from your preferred stake which you specify in the preferences.

The first is in preset the second the altback.

The alt back is currently overriden when you tick 'Override' odds. This is not what I intended and will be fixing it shortly.

teamleader. Are the one who requested the feature? If so I will leave it What I have just thought of is to display the stake in these additional columns so you know exactly what you're doing.

Sally. shhh. It's to lay a selection at 1000 in running to a preset stake. I don't want people using it unless they are really ok with the risk. It is disabled and has to be enabled with a password which I will supply to anyone who emails me. If anyone does get the password from me and does their b****x then remember it's not my fault

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
