Greyhounds market liquidity.

Anyone no where I could find a list of groundhound meetings showing
the best liquidity on Betfair?

greyhound liquidity is poor at the best of times and only ever really comes alive in the last few minutes before the off.

Are you looking for u to date figures pre off ?

I tend to stick to the four BAGS meetings during the day. I would say the liquidity on these races ranges from 6k through to 20k+. My estimated average would be around 10k per BAGS race. Evening races can be really poor (Eg. Belle Vue with £400 matched by the off).

As Captain Sensible points out, most of this money comes in very, very late. If there is any delay in the races going off this seriously reduces the liquidity. I would definately include a check on the 'total matched' before placing a bet (Eg. Ensuring that at least 4k had been matched before placing a bet as this means that the market has at least started to form).
