Can you try version 1.1.0.52 and let me know if it still shows the message. If it does show the message then there will be a figure in brackets after the message, can you let me know what this is.

Are these anything to worry about?

I noticed after reply to your question about CPU usage the this is signifiacntly lower if I have excel in the background - i.e. BA selected - also very low (about 10%) if I minimise the workbook within excel first.

Would I be reducing the processing of excel by doing this minimisation / risking the code not being processed for every refresh of BA? It didn't appear to be the case as I got matched on all of the automated orders - which would seem to be a good improvement from before - but as I was only running this from about 4 p.m. it's early days to say.

Thanks again.

Nothing to worry about. It is important that the times in brackets are well under 100ms which they are on the whole. I will do some more fine tuning to see if I can get the time down further.

Excel is updated after every price refresh and the refresh is requested every 100ms when using a refresh rate of 0.1, therefore if a refresh gets a slow response then the next refresh could be small number of milliseconds away and the updates could overlap causing the busy message. This shouldn't happen the majority of the time as long as the API is performing well.

Minimising BA or Excel will not prevent the triggers being processed.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
