Not sure if this is something that anyone else would want but I'll throw it in anyway.

Would it be possible to add an option to save the current state of the apllication when it is closed down? So when you next use Betfair Trader, all of the markets previously selected and their parameters, including quick picks, would be loaded as you last left them?

nuatthis. Thanks for the feedback. It sounds like you have some ISP issues there. I am still looking at the amendments I put in on Saturday to see if I missed something and will let you know if I find anything.

re the Firefox refresher. You should have saved an XPI file from my site. This file type is not associated with Firefox so will not be recognised by Windows. You need to use the file|open menu from within the firefox program and select the XPI file. It should then prompt you to install it.

RSPL. Don't know how you got it with a .zip extension. XPI files are ZIP files. Don't worry about what's in the file, just rename it as an XPI file and then open in it from Firefox's file|open menu.

I may be wrong but without the ability to cancel a bet through an Excel trigger I don't think the program can do what you are requesting.

I will definitely add a cancel trigger this weekend and maybe a combined back and lay trigger which will wait until one half of the order is filled before requesting the other half.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
