I take that back. My other machine uses 1280x1024, and that uses 120 d.p.i characters, which are chopped too. But it does work right on a 1024x768 , 96 d.p.i. machine, so I'm sure that is Peter Piper's problem too.

Toma ... in the project window , double click the worksheet where you put the data from layit's prog.
You'll see (General) immediately to the right .. using the drop down box, change (General) to worksheet. Copy my code into the pane below and save. You might need to close the sheet and re-open .. the macro will run when you open the sheet.

Also, "Refresh rate" comes out as "Refes", and "h rate" on the next line,
"Actual refresh rate" is chopped to "Actual refresh r", "Market (quick pi" is chopped from "pick", I guess. "Cancel remaining when matched" is chopped at the top on line 1 and at the bottom on line 2. All these are liveable with, of course, but show the effect of the character size.

Gary, what's changed from 97l to 97n?

One thing I've noticed -- the "CANCEL" trigger seems to reset my 'avg matched' and 'matched stake' columns to zero. Personally I'd rather it didn't, any one else have a view?

Joey Silvera. I could make clearing the matched odds optional.

The latestion version includes the balance at the top left corner. Click on the balance to refresh it. This was requested ages ago.

Oh and version 0.98n uses the runner number in US racing to position in Excel so there will be a blank row for scratched runners. This was to accommodate someone who is using a web query to obtain information from another site, the runners did not line up.

That would be much appreciated Gary. As it stands it's not possible to calculate my liability (in excel) on a particular selection when using the CANCEL trigger as part of my formula.

I would also like to able to clear out the betting values when a new market is displayed but the code didn't seem to work to clear the values.

I saved the code in the worksheet as you indicated but no joy! Ant ideas?

Great program Gary btw!

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
