Simple Trigger Question

Postby tranmerekev » Sat Jun 13, 2009 5:46 pm

From quite a simple person

If I'm using LAY-T1-IP for example how do I get it to green up for all selections.
I've tried ticking Auto Level before I place my Trigger but it doesn't seem to work.

I'm sure there's a very simple solution to this, but I'm having a blonde day.

Thanks in advance.

You can use LAY-TL1-IP so that the back offset bet uses a stake that will level the profit across all selections.

Thanks Gary. I knew there would be a simple explanation.

One further question. I'm experimenting with a few Triggers, but having some trouble.

In the help guide there's a Trigger LAY-T3-SL4-IP.

When I try it it simply doesn't work. All I get is in the Bet Ref cell is "pending"

I'm looking to experiment with a tick offset with an auto level profit and with a stop loss.
If I'm laying and the lay bet is matched I want the back bet to go in play, obviously.

I know the correct order is:
Tick Offset
Stop Loss
In Play

So I thought something like LAY-TLn-SLn-IP would work, but that doesn't either.
What am I doing wrong?

I can see from our log files that your are using version 1.1.0.20. This function is not supported in this version, you need to upgrade. There is only one help file which includes all the latest features so sorry for the confusion.

Download the latest version using the link below (uninstall your current version using the Windows control panel first)

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
