FREE - Excel/VBA programming Books... if you can HELP me

Postby Norwegian Would » Tue Jul 14, 2009 1:07 am

Bit of a sly way to get your attention sorry!

I am a nube to Gruss but not to using bots. I have got to say that this BA is a steal at 60 Norwegian Kroner a month - Ta !

Ok - here's the deal - If you can help me I'll send you some "Complimentary copies" of some .pdf's that I have about Excel / VBA: or if you have summat special your are after PM me.

The reason for me doing this guys is to show that I am not after 'owt fer nowt.

If you are like me : you burn the midnight oil tryiny to find the Holy Grail and the Ultimate Set - Bet - Forget 'n COLLECT system

Well I need your help and I am willing to give a little bit in return - hopefully further down the line I can return your favour.

What I am after is something probably very simple but after trawling the forum thread for two nights in a row; I can't find what I am looking for as most of the threads are "fragmented".

I need a spreadsheet or code that can trigger one or several bets from my Selections worksheet (I have downloaded the free sample from this forum).

I need it to trigger 5 mins before the posted off time (thats easy 'cos I pick it off the QuikPik list) BUT only if the LAY odds are between 4.8 and 6.8 ANDIF it is 3rd or more in the market - ie 3rd, 4th, 5th etc.

The main help I need is with the FILL or KILL between 5 mins to 4.30 mins

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks for your attention.

Thanks Mr Alpodopial. I liked the way that you seperated the "core" data out on to the Info tab.

Nice and easy to read and navigate for a beginner. A virtual Pilser is sent to you.

If you PM me with your "wish list" I will get back to you ASAP

Cheers

Just had time for the quickest of looks at alrodopial's spreadsheet (nice one by the way :) ) Not sure yet if it addresses all your trigger criteria though ie

lay odds between 4.8 and 6.8,
Rank of 3rd, 4th, 5th or higher,
and bets only placed between 300 and 270 seconds before the scheduled off.

Will play with it later when I can study it properly - apologies in advance to alrodopial if it does all of the above and I have failed to realize it. Anyway my excuse is I am still learning.

Regards to you both.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
