You could have a minimum bet of £2 on BF and view from there? When you say live - most channels/sites even in the UK have a few seconds delay on coverage which is not very useful for in-play without spending big bucks on dedicated live feeds

The Betfair feed of RacingUK is barely behind what you get on Sky satellite and I've seen posts on the Betfair forum that says it's in front of Virgin cable.
You can subscribe to RacingUK for online streaming only but I don't think its supposed to be for non-UK residents.

On the delay front, I went to Wimbledon dogs on Tuesday which was being shown live on Sky and Betfair had in-running betting. I was staggered to find just how far behind the Sky coverage was. One of the TV's at the stadium was showing the Sky coverage and in every race the dogs were around the first bend but the TV was still showing the hare approaching the traps !! The TV was about 8-10 secs behind live - the dogs were past the winning line but still coming around the last bend on the TV.

I reckon it was easy pickings for the in-running boys standing on the first bend with their mobile phones. It is simply madness to bet in-running on the dogs if you only have access to the Sky pictures.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
